どら焼き (Dorayaki)

A Dorayaki is a type of Japanese wagashi which is basically а red bean pancake which consists of two small pancake-like patties made from castella wrapped around a filling of sweet bean paste. Legend has it that the first one was made when Benkei forgot his gong (dora) upon leaving a farmer’s home where he was hiding and the farmer subsequently used the gong to fry the pancakes, thus the name dorayaki.

And of course these….*___* I love my mum for making these.

Die Frau ist so genial.

Hab mir grad alle 6 Folgen (à 45min) die bisher raus sind in einem Zug angeschaut und bin begeistert. Hoarr hoarr. Vorallem noch mit 反町 隆史 und エドはるみ (Dessen Rolle mich ziemlich geschockt hat).
